Mercury Venus Aspects ~ Soap opera

Mercury Venus aspects should bring gifts in creative writing and poetry. However, I didn’t find that much evidence of literature talent in my research. Instead, I found an abundance of wit and cheeky charm. Many actors are born with either Mercury conjunct Venus or Mercury sextile Venus aspect in their natal chart. Depending on which zodiac signs these planets fall, there should also be a diplomatic way with words. Mostly these two planets in aspect make great TV presenters and speechmakers. Mercury Venus is more about the spoken word and style of speech rather than written words on paper.

Mercury Venus Transit

Mercury conjunction or sextile Venus in the sky is a fantastic time for sales, especially art and fashion. This combination is a dream for advertisers and commercial artists as both planets complement each other nicely. It is a fantastic day for beauty treatments, buying clothes or visiting the hairdresser. See a romantic movie and do fun, light-hearted things. Maybe go to a Spa for some pampering and a massage with Mercury’s fingers! This flighty little aspect does not last long, so grab the good times while you can.

Oscar Winning Speeches

In a natal chart, Mercury and Venus are never more than 75 degrees apart, so we don’t get any tricky aspects like the square or opposition. But if you want to include the semi-square (Which I don’t use in my system) there could be a tendency to tell little white lies. Flattery gets these people everywhere!

The Mercury Venus aspects make great salespeople, so this combination would be excellent for marketing and advertising professionals. Mercury and Venus are both easy-going planets that tend to behave in a flighty or flirtatious manner. If you are in the antiques, art, or fashion business, a Mercury Venus aspect would be ideal for you. Another profession suited to these natives would be a calligrapher or typographer. Words are aesthetically pleasing.

Seductive Yarns

I can’t think of any negative traits that would arise from this aspect in a career. As both planets are associated with money and commerce, this makes sense. They both compliment each other so well. Mercury conjunct Venus is also the hermaphrodite. Aphrodite = Venus, and Hermes = Mercury.

Mercury is the only neutral planet. Some magical traditions switch Mercury with Venus as well. So both of these planets have a trickster, shape-shifty vibration. In alchemy “The alchemical hermaphrodite symbolizes chemical bonding in the laboratory as an “unnatural creation.” It can represent the union of any two opposing substances—mercury and copper, mercury and sulfur, silver and gold, or body and spirit—transformed into a new material.” ~ Getty Edu
