Prenumbral* Lunar Eclipse September 16 2016 is at 24º Pisces Decan 3. Aspects: Square Mars & Quincunx Venus. Fixed Star: Markab & Sadalbari In Pegasus
The last decan of Pisces feels like the end of an era and a time when things are about to burst or transcend. There is a lot of complex geometry in the lunar eclipse chart. This intricate web of intrigue is hard to decode. So I will only look at the direct connections to the Eclipse; a square from Mars and the karmic adjustments from two quincunxes. Mars is very important to the Eclipse since it is in a tight trine to Uranus too. There is a lesson to be learnt here through the ‘Learning triangle’ of the Sun, Mars & Uranus, but first we must break each of the Eclipse factors down.
The wild mood changes of this decan are bound to everyone on their toes. Because of fluctuating emotions, those touched by this eclipse might find it hard to keep hold of relationships. The Moon here is apt to lash out for no apparent reason, so this decan is typical of those who would be described as having an “artistic temperament.”
With it’s finger on the pulse the collective, those touched by this eclipse will be very sensitive to what the public perceives them to be. If they can’t be loved, then they might go out of their way to be unpopular and delight in being controversial. The Moon here loves being the subject of gossip, and seems to lap-up any attention, even if it is negative. Bad press doesn’t exist as long as the subject is being talked about; maybe this Eclipse will feed off drama.
Lunar Eclipse September 2016 ~ Pisces Decan 3
The Moon here can be quite “bratty”, for those effected by this eclipse will feel at the mercy of their hormones. It is very important you make time for lunar darkness and quiet or you will become a cranky, pain-in-the-arse for the next 3 months. Beware of infantile rages that can emerge due to unresolved childhood trauma.
Fixed Stars Markab & Sadalbari
Potent mind-power comes from Markab, the alpha star in the wing of Pegasus which “is said to influence above all the spiritual and mental nature, to give a good head for figures, intellectual alertness, mental powers in general and last but not least, the ability to further propaganda activity“ and “Markab also gives “honor, riches and fortune” . The Moon itself on Markab brings “Injuries from enemies and domestic matters, fairly good health but many accidents”.
The second star Sadalbari is found in the chest of the flying horse, but has no specific meaning. In Arabic this star means the ‘Good Luck of the Excelling One’. So despite the accident problem, there seems to be luck too. A star like this needs all the fortune it can get since it is so impulsive. As Robson points out “The constellation gives ambition, vanity, intuition, enthusiasm, caprice and bad judgment.”
