Sun sextile or trine Uranus can create brilliant, visionary people who have the courage to break through conventions. Often this rebelliousness comes from being brought up by a well meaning, but often very orthodox father figure. The father will however, at least provided a stable anchor from which this Uranian ship can explore. So conversely, it is the very fact that these folk did have such a conservative, stable background that they feel secure enough to take great leaps into the unknown.
Even with a soft aspect, Sun/Uranus can be very touchy, highly strung and operate like a live wire. The surface is deceptive sometimes though, because mostly these natives have quite a glacial demeanour. However, if you poke them in the wrong way they will de-materialise out of your reality in a split second, leaving just the echo of a cursory word behind. Yes, shocking!
Remember Uranus brings the unexpected. That’s why these folk have a really electric and fascinating aura about them. Even the most conventional looking among them retain a sparkle in their eyes and the promise of something exciting. These natives’ favourite way to court a potential mate, is to keep them guessing.“It’s a surprise!” they say, even though they often have no idea what the agenda is either.
Bright Sparks & Live Wires
Sun sextile or trine Uranus hate plans and prefer to be impulsive, as they never know how they will feel on the day. This can infuriate those close to them who judge this as a lack of commitment on Sun/Uranus’s part. But this is not the case at all, as they are actually are very loyal and will certainly keep their dates. The ‘when’ is the easy part, but the ‘what’ part likes to keep as many different options available as possible. Sun trine Uranus in particular has learnt over many lifetimes how to be very flexible and to creatively adapt so this is not a problem for them. They would probably say “Change, not necessity, is the mother of invention”
Sun sextile or trine Uranus can be quite happy being the outsider. They have a strong independent spirit and prefer to do things their own way. Sometimes they will find themselves working for themselves because they just cannot abide being told what to do. This is because often, the ‘orders’, are being given by those who do not have the ingenuity or inventiveness that they themselves have. Often these folk have ideas ahead of their time and are ridiculed. It can be lonely being a seer sometimes.. However, in time, these geniuses are recognised. As wise old eccentrics, they can’t help but boast “I said …….. years ago!”

Sun Trine Uranus
Marie Curie was a Polish physicist and chemist who won the noble prize twice. The only person and woman to have done so. Curie was famous for her pioneering work on radioactivity. Sun trine Uranus is not going to make everyone a genius of course, but Curie fits the archetype mainly because of her ceaseless dedication and love of science. She even died as a result of so much exposure to radiation as a result of her setting up X-ray units in WW1 and also due to carrying around radium test tubes in her pockets. Curies early life was one of struggle as both sides of her family lost their fortunes while trying to restore Polish independence. “Her father, Wadysaw Skodowski, taught mathematics and physics, subjects that Maria was to pursue….After Russian authorities eliminated laboratory instruction from the Polish schools, he brought much of the laboratory equipment home, and instructed his children in its use.”

Sir Isaac Newton was an English physicist and mathematician. He is famous for his theory on gravity, but he also built the first reflecting telescope and had many interesting theories on colour and the light spectrum. Newton had a mystic’s mindset. “Although the laws of motion and universal gravitation became Newton’s best-known discoveries, he warned against using them to view the Universe as a mere machine, as if akin to a great clock. He said, “Gravity explains the motions of the planets, but it cannot explain who set the planets in motion. God governs all things and knows all that is or can be done.” ~ Wiki
Uranus was a sky god of course and is often cited as the modern ruler of Astrology. What about the claim that Newton was a secret student of Astrology? “As evidence, the following anecdote is often quoted: when the astronomer Edmond Halley (1656-1742), of comet fame, once spoke depreciatively on the subject of astrology, Newton is said to have berated him with the remark: “Sir Halley, I have studied the matter, you have not!” ~ staff.science.uu.nl This astrological connection tends to be debunked due to ignorance of the type of astrology (Traditional) that was practised in Newton’s time. What Newton might have meant by “The matter” is that he had conducted a great deal of research on alchemy, which in the 17th century was considered ‘occult’. He had 167 books on ‘the matter’ in his library and 4 specifically on Astrology.
“Due to the threat of punishment and the potential scrutiny he feared from his peers within the scientific community, Newton may have deliberately left his work on alchemical subjects unpublished.” There was also a suspicious fire… “Much of Newton’s writing on alchemy may have been lost in a fire in his laboratory, so the true extent of his work in this area may have been larger than is currently known. Newton also suffered a nervous breakdown during his period of alchemical work, possibly due to some form of chemical poisoning (possibly from mercury, lead, or some other substance).”
Newton’s alchemical studies and association with the Rosicrucians would also support his astrological interests. Newton also believed that the Bible was prophetic and spent much of his life looking into the Bible Code, in particular predictions in ‘The book of revelations.’ Newton was also said to be a member of various secret societies. Another interesting side note is in Newtons book The Chronology of Ancient Kingdoms Amended, several passages mention the island of Atlantis specifically
