The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse 26 May 2021 is at 5º Sagittarius.
Moon in Sagittarius Decan 1 ~ Austin Coppock calls this decan. ‘Poison Arrow’ because Sagittarius 1 is represented by the 8 of Wands tarot card, known as ‘Swiftness’ in the Thoth deck. These subjects burst out of the Scorpionic hostage where they may have been captive. This is a fresh and urgent place for the Moon, but at the same time, it is not blindly impulsive. Moon Sagittarius 1 will not strike until it is utterly sure of its target and then it will hit the bull’s eye straight off.
Yes, the Moon here is swift, graceful and to the point. It is also more likely to be competitive in a less physical manner than you would expect from a sign with hooves. Scorpio’s influence is still fresh, with the shadowy lone wolf prowling through this zone. There are also poisonous snakes in the grass, Hermes’ slinky Caduceus and voodoos dollies nailed onto trees…
The Moon here is garish, like glow in the dark makeup. Here we find spooky shamanic face paint (Jackie Stallone..) and gothy Mexican day of the dead type imagery too (Tim Curry.) spring to mind. Sagittarius Moon 1 can be unexpectedly covert in their operations, even if they do look like a scary clown. Sometimes they do get away with murder, just because they look so darned freakish. I mean that’s way too obvious for a murder-mystery, right?
These folk need to have a target to aim for with their poison arrows though, you don’t want that venom flying all over the place. Without a specific aim, Coppock says “ the integrity of their personalities breaks down and they become prone to vice. Thus many of these natives will pursue a questionable goal rather than none at all. They must learn to be discerning in which rabbits they choose to chase”
