The Solar Eclipse December falls closest to the star Kaus Medius found in the vane of the archer’s bow. However, the notorious nebula Facies is also conjunct the south node. I wouldn’t normally look at the fixed star on the nodes for a normal Moon report. But the Nodes are what turns an ordinary new moon into an eclipse. We really shouldn’t ignore Facies!
Reboot solar eclipses can be used for powerful sorcery, and with Facies, the potential for merciless elimination behaviour could be high. Jupiter will only inflame the ruthlessness further. Solar Eclipse Fixed Stars ~ Kaus Medius & Facies
Kaus Medius “Those born on the lunar day will be honourable, handsome, happy, religious, fond of large animals and will be soldiers or wrestlers. With Moon here at birth, the native will be obedient, polite, popular, grateful and have many friends.” All the stars in constellation Sagittarius are generally fortunate, it’s only when we get to Facies that things get difficult again and that’s only because Facies is a nebula.

It gives a penetration of action that has no regard for others…Facies in a chart will indicate that the planet it touches will be very focused and driven…the push to achieve goals and aims may well become ruthless.” [4]
But Brady also gives the meaning for Facies with the Node: ~ “To be seen to be working against injustice or corruption, to work against the abuse of power. An advocate for minority rights. A time when society is changed by a single act ” [1] It feels like someone will hit the bull’s eye with this one!
This decan is really dominated by Sagittarius the archer. Most of its stars are here ” in the stars of this constellation the human form is blended with a beast’s and placed above it; wherefore it has lordship over beasts. And because it carries a shaft poised on a drawn bow, it imparts strength to limb and keenness to the intellect, swiftness of movement, and an indefatigable spirit.“ [5]
