14 DECEMBER ~ Venus sextile Jupiter at 28º Scorpio/Capricorn.
Venus Jupiter aspects are super-lovely and luxurious. Riches and indulgence are indicated, but with the hard aspects there can be supreme greed and debauchery too. If this aspect were a hotel room it would be the honeymoon suite. This gorgeous pairing brings the two benefics together which you would think could only be a good thing.
The sparkling fortune indicated by the marriage of the two brightest planets in the solar system is true to a certain extent, but it really depends how these planets are configured in the chart. Are either of them dignified? Are they powerful in angular houses? Sometimes their pairing can be a case of too much of a good thing. Ask yourself these questions before you assume this aspect will give all the blessings it promises!
The soft aspects are the perfect recipe for an unforgettable, sparkling wedding. At its best, this is a beautiful, fortunate connection for any couple tying the knot. But it is also great for a profitable business partnership also. It works best for careers that are to do with travel, art, spirituality, love, antiques, pampering, beauty and harmony.
Venus sextile or trine Jupiter is generally a lucky, gregarious and loving aspect. It is wonderful for a career in the arts but it also (as seen in my research) seems to favour working within the fields of philosophy and spirituality. What surprised me about the marriage between these two pleasure-loving benefics is the number of powerful conquerors born with this aspect too. I imagine the native would need some Martian aspects to kick this lounge lizard off its sumptuous sofa, however. This aspect gives such great charm and sheer good luck to the subject, that success often finds them and not the other way around.
