Decan 1 Virgo March 2012

Virgo Decan 1 starts off with a beautiful trine from Venus between March 5 to 15. Time to relax and enjoy the company of friends, family and that someone special. You should be feeling real good and looking for some affection and fun in your life. Money matters should be going fine so take advantage of this very comfortable transit to entertain or go out and party. Venus is with Jupiter in the sky, and this is activating your longer term Jupiter transit which is coming to an end. This first couple of weeks of March is an excellent time to cash in on the good fortune in love and money. This is about as good as transits can get so have fun, socialize, party, and try your luck.

Now from March 13 onwards into mid May, Mars retrograde passes through your decan. Back in November last year you had this transit when Mars was moving forward. Now is heading back through your decan and moving much more slowly. Mars in your decan means you are pumped up, lots of adrenalin. Intense desires and a very strong will to get what you want. As Mars is retrograde, the likelihood of getting yourself into trouble because of this extra strong ego and drive is higher. You will have extra strength and courage to achieve your goals but must channel this aggressive energy safely and constructively. This means taking into consideration the needs of other people, trying to find win-win situations. Try not to steam-roll your way through opposition but take a more tactful approach. Physical activity is favored under this transit, as is competition. Sexual desire will be strong too, and you and a willing partner partner may enjoy your more primal energy so long as you both understand this phase you are going through.

Decan 2 Virgo March 2012

Virgo Decan 2 still has Mars retrograde in your decan up to March 13. This transit began mid February and has given you the boost in energy or a very strong drive to win and get your desires fulfilled. Mars in retrograde motions means you have to take extra care to avoid pissing people off with this extremely powerful goal-directed energy. Pushing too hard in any area of life could result in a lot more opposition making it that much harder to get where you want to. It will be particularly important to control your aggressive instincts in the week following the March 8 Full Moon which is in your decan. This Moon puts a focus on your home life, emotions, and your close relationships, especially partners and female friends and relatives. The polarities in your life are in focus, your emotional needs against those of these other people. You may be very touchy this week, the Moon shining a light on your emotional reactions, and Mars firing up your temper. Try not to take things too personally, but if you do find yourself being attacked, try to take a minute to think before reacting. The thing is that you might be so worked up that people find you threatening, even though you may not see things this way. You may have to tone down your self assertion and think about what you are really trying to achieve, and if this is the best option for you.

Things ease off from March 15 to 24 with a trine from Venus. Still highly charged from Mars, still the focus on relationships from the Full Moon, but now this harmonious Venus transit allows for some most excellent bedroom gymnastics, of the naked variety. The perfect mix of affection and primal urges will make you extremely attractive to the opposite sex, and this is a fun-loving transit so get out and party. It’s also a very creative time to put that Mars energy into artwork or sculpting, make something of beauty from metal. As mentioned in the Virgo 2012 Horoscope, Jupiter starts trining your decan now, and with Venus and Jupiter together, that loving feeling is very strong. This is also a good omen for making money as these are two of the very best transits for finances coming together in this latter part of March.

Decan 3 Virgo March 2012

Virgo Decan 3 has no transits until the last week of this month, when you get two at once! The strongest influence will be from Mercury Retrograde opposite your decan. You had this transit in the last week of February when Mercury was going forward, bringing a rush of extra activity and increased communications. Now this time a similar thing happens, but because Mercury is much slower heading backwards, the effects will drag out much longer, through to mid April. Mercury retrograde is a lot like the Mercury opposition, so you are going to feel this one pretty strongly. That means being rushed, confused thinking, disagreements and misunderstandings. I would not be signing contracts during this period. If you are forced to make important decisions then seek advice from someone you can really trust to go over all the details and fine print, because you are likely to be too scattered to focus properly. If you have to travel then be prepared for some delays and changes of plan. Communications and transport can be unreliable at this time. At least for this last week of March, you get some help from a Venus trine which will help relax those nerves and bring a bit more harmony to relationships. It will take the edge off a bit, but still, this Venus transit is not enough to negate the very strong influence of Mercury retrograde.
