Sun trine Saturn people tend to be serious and reserved with the ability to achieve recognition due to the good work ethic that comes from this aspect. It gives methodical planning and discipline and may indicate assistance from those in authority and especially the father when young. However as the trine aspect represents ease and favour, these benefits may sometimes come too easily resulting in a lack of appreciation and abuse of any authority than comes with that extra responsibility.

Yes, definitley see the father/son/fortunes relationship in this aspect, but, between this son and his dad its a “Parents/Kids, who’d have ‘em” kinda thing, said with a mutual smirk (plenty of dry humour) – also, ‘fighting my quarter’ theme….erk, gurn…esp around finance, tho dad has been very supportive in recent years. Tend to keep parents at arms length…..
Have Sun conj Venus trine Saturn rx (Aries & Sag) + Saturn opp Mars (Gemini) and Saturn sext Chiron sext Sun – I was a very naughty kid, always getting into scrapes and loving it!
Don’t you think aspects can ‘mature’ tho (said hopefully) – guess in this respect key words would be ‘INTENSITY and focus’ …..these days like to see Saturn as alchemist regulating inner fire – figured the lesson is; learning how to transmute (humungus) ego & use it creatively with feeling! – school of hard knocks, but, has come in very handy in healing/creative work.
Finding Saturn (1st ho) can also have more lens than conservative effect on upside + intensity is focused into endless stamina, unless loony humour sets in (Cancer Moon) in which case falls about laughing
There is a twist….father’s Moon is at action point of yod in his chart formed with his Saturn sext Sun and his Moon is conj. my Sun/Venus! We have our flash points (understatement) and, although our work ethic is similar, has taken years of face-offs to reach maturing into mutual appreciation and revealing great love (comrades-in-arms in Life kinda thing esp when I became a dad) – but, MAN, are we different people, aspire to total opposites
….Guess its all in that Saturn Sun aspect…..somehow
thanks Jamie & Marina
I have practically memorized Liz Greene’s book on Saturn. She claims no contact to Saturn is easy – even the so called easy aspects – such as the trine. I have a sun saturn trine but no early support from father – but we shared a birthday There was little communication between us and he died when I was 23 so no chance of ever really understanding him as an adult. I think the fact that my moon is conjunct saturn trumps the saturn moon trine and the father influence. My mother was more of a father in many way.
just saw something else – I am curious about your father’s moon conjunct your sun. Is this the flash point? My Cancer/Gemini ex’s moon was conjunct my sun in Aries by one degree. We were so connected in this weird role reversal way (me being in a traditional male supporter role and he being an at-home mom/dad – and talk about flash points – holy cow!
