I have several retrogrades: Saturn on 6th. Jup. on 3rd. Pluto on 2nd (jumping into 3rd). Iris, Ixion and Quoar, are Rx. also.
They also say -my youngest brother is astrologer, though, not willing to further learn about asteroids, fixed stars, usw.)- that Rx. planets are linked to spirituality?
I feel that you, Jamie, are right. I feel that I am a slow learning person, related to every day life. To start with, because I can barely see, at all (I can see, GSD, but not see ahead). Impulsiveness, mainly (and other sympathies, here, in my chart).

I have Jupiter retrograde in my natal 6th, and my health has not been so great over the course of my life. I’m still kickin’ though!
I have five retrograde planets in my natal chart (Mercury/Mars/Uranus/Neptune&Pluto). Having learnt a bit about retrogrades, I realise this is a lot of planets, yet I have no idea how to interpret my natal chart with these placements.
I haven’t researched this much, the affect in the natal chart. We have been focusing more on the affect of the transiting retrograde planets. I do believe they may indicate that we are a bit slower to learn our lessons in that area, or have to work extra hard because we made mistakes in past lives and earlier in this life. For example with Saturn retrograde, I keep getting lessons about taking responsibility and acting in a responsible way.
Thanks, & interesting as in my youth, found myself going over old ground in several areas time and time again due to being too headstrong and impatient (Aries). These days I am far more conscious of life’s lessons as they arrive and have become a very quick learner.
