New House, New Start

Jamie has moved and will have no internet for a week. Uranus crossed his IC the day his house application was approved. My second home is 3 minutes walk to the town center and beach! It’s an important move psychologically as previously Jamie lived on the wrong side of the Pacific highway. It was all our budget could afford 3 years ago when we first got together. At night the trucks thundered past, very unsettling, and we were so isolated from the town center.

2012 turned out to be our most difficult year as a couple. In April Jamie was diagnosed with early stage bowel cancer. The operation was a success and Jamie has made a fantastic recovery. (He wrote about his diagnosis and recovery in the Hygeia post comments.) However the health crisis has slowed us down in terms of what we wanted to achieve this year both professionally and in pushing forward with our long term plan of living together full time. But it has made us look at where we need to focus energies and our priorities.

Website changes

We have decided to discontinue the weekly horoscopes. Jamie needs time to write the all important 2013 horoscopes. He is back doing natal readings and rectifications, but his waiting list is quite long because of all the upheavals. I will continue to write the Full and New Moons and I plan to start writing synastry aspects too. We want to focus on writing articles that have a long shelf, like the Aspects, Asteroids and Fixed stars.

I have made the synastry readings shorter and more affordable;
A new mini synastry reading for $119 lasting 30 mins on Mp3. I find it is more useful to look at the synastry connections holistically, rather than go through each and every aspect, though I do talk in detail about the important ones. This is good for those who have just met and want to know if it has the potential to go full term.

A new streamlined full synastry reading for $239 lasting 60 – 70 on Mp3. Many people were priced out of this reading (previously $299.) but really wanted to have their relationship chart (Davison) included. So I decided to make these changes. I personally find the Davison really insightful, especially using the fixed stars and wanted to make it available to as many couples as possible. The $19 love tests are back! Christmas holidays; I will be taking a month off from doing readings from 4th December – 6th Of January, so if you are thinking of ordering it is recommended you book before then.

Jamie and I are really excited about the future now, we feel we have turned a corner and that this new house will be a brand new start for us as a family. We also want to thank our Darkstar subscribers for their wonderful support and encouragement throughout this challenging year. Jamie says you can hear the ocean from the house.
