Lilith conjuncts Jupiter for the first time in 33 years, on the 8th of December this year at 0 degrees Taurus 24′ . It will remain within a degree of orb for 24 days, peaking exactly on the 20th of December and ending on January 3rd 2012. This aspect repeats later in 2012. The 2011 conjunction is activated by a trine from the new moon on Christmas eve. This should add extra sparkle to this festive evening and make it even more magical for any kids we have present. For the adults we get an added sexual zing to this romantic night!
Lilith Conjunct Jupiter brings together two apparently opposing forces in western culture. 
Lilith and Jupiter share sex and religion in common. Jupiter was the insatiable chaser of nymphs while Lilith is also accused of being insatiable. However with Lilith, her apparently greedy sexuality is vilified and seen as destructive somehow. Instead of a congratulatory slap on the back she is labelled a succubus and a nymphomaniac. The same goes for the religious aspect, Lilith’s magical ability is branded as witchcraft, for Jupiter these powers are just an example of the divine miracle of his godliness. Lilith like Jupiter has a hunger for knowledge and mind expansion, indeed it was this desire for wisdom and the passing on of that sacred knowledge that caused Eve to be booted out of paradise.
Lilith conjunct Jupiter gives an insatiable, ravenous sexual energy but also a real need for those physical relations to be tantric. Sex for Lilith/Jupiter has to bring one in contact with the divine which is similar to Lilith/Neptune. But where Lilith/Neptune is fantasy forming, yearning, unrequited and ultimately celibate, Lilith/Jupiter, has to be very, very physical. So we are talking total body, head-to-toe ecstatic orgasms that blow your mind to kingdom come.
If this aspect is cannot be channelled into sex, then it becomes a very zealous approach to spirituality. They may have an unusual, far-out belief systems that forces them to have to justify their brand of religion. This conjunction is quite rare, to find them within a degree apart we have to go back to 1977 and 1978. I thought it might be interesting to see if there were any relevant news events in those months:

What can expect from this conjunction this time? New discoveries and playing god seem to have come up at the last one, plus the expansion of wisdom in the form of information technology. Lilith’s forbidden fruit becomes Apple Computers! I would hope for a greater acceptance of female priests and modernisation of the Catholic Church. Maybe we shall see surface more revelations as to what secrets the Vatican is hiding. The notion that there could have been a female pope is intriguing. The 2009 film “Pope Joan” caused an uproar within the Catholic church[2], I wonder how many women in the dark ages with a thirst for knowledge did in fact disguise themselves as men in order to gain an education and practise their craft in medicine or as philosophers. Were some of the ancient scholars in fact women?
We get this conjunction again in 2012 due to the retrograde action of Jupiter. Dates when Jupiter and Lilith are exactly conjunct are: March 11th-20th and December 11th-12th and then again in 2013. But after that we don’t get it again until 2047!
Back to the aspect, we can learn something from the list of those born with this. The magic and sexuality is there (Franklin, Jagger, Shakira,), the blending of the mystic with the physical too (Lee), some scandal (Berry, Keeler, Abrego, Jones) and also provocative writing (Long, Stein).

George Van Tassel was a perfect example of the far-out religion aspect of Lilith/Jupiter. He was an American contactee and Ufologist. He claimed to have been transported astrally to an Alien vessel where he was told to put together a construction with the aim to extend the life of human beings so that they could take advantage of wisdom acquired with old age. Yes, tantric – this time round i was doing intermediate yoga after a break for a couple years and at the last class where I was having trouble with my ankle (tendon it turned out) i dreamt of being in an airplane flying over a school of whales and the gyzer of one I was concerned might bring down our plane in the far cold north. I was with a younger woman who seemed familiar with the terrain. I obsessed over the meaning of that until I found an explanation “released emotions” and then I saw the trantric book with the greyish line rising similiarly up the center line and out the top of the head. I still haven’t resumed yoga due to continual muscle/tendon injuries and then on New Years Eve I ended up falling on my right arm and in emergency til about 6/7ish. I slipped on water taking the garbage out. Nothing broken they think after xrays and not too painful, but inconvenient…
So Jupiter conjunct Lilith at 0 Taurus > at 8 Taurus > and finally at 10 Gemini…
In 2012, around 7degree Gemini/Sagittarius certainly plays a big part.
