Yods are a challenge anyway, but her’s is with the North Node also and with Pluto means that her souls evolution is very much involved in secrets, cover ups, the taboo, sex and death. Pluto is quincunx Mercury, so she has a forensic mind. Obsessive and attentive to detail. It could be the mind that anticipates what a police investigator may look at.

Kate McCann is like a child with very dark adult emotions that she cannot handle. It almost describes her as the abused child. Apparently she became hysterical and immediately screamed that Madeleine had been abducted, would suggest she is projecting her own chart here. Lilith features so strongly, it is also square both Venus which I think it quite dangerous in the sense she could really manipulate and bewitch men to do what she wants for them. The Lilith square Mercury could describe the child stealing Lilith also. I think however she is the type of woman who attracts Plutonic types to her having now looked at Gerry’s chart. A lot of people like to blame the mother, but maybe she is not really as “evil” as perhaps her chart makes out.
UPDATE! On checking her true Lilith position I realized that if she was born any time up to 11am she would have moon conjunct Lilith. Her true and mean Liliths are conjunct making them extra powerful. Make of that what you will if the moon governs ones style of mothering or relationship with mother. If she is born later the Moon is on Algol the Lilith star, if earlier it’s on Lilith itself. So there is no escape from baby stealing Lilith. Very sad.

Kate strikes me as a late Aquarius rising, with harsh Mars and Saturn nearing the 2nd, perhaps.
I finally brought myself to look at these charts, and thought very much upon knowing she is educated as a doctor, and has gone to medical school- in many ways anyone not understanding what some places take to go through even nursing school can require some brutal things.
I look back, since I am after all very concerned about helping humans and animals and not being part of a system that causes needless death to either, as an art student I was considering taking a few medical courses in anatomy and physiology, the dissection of dead humans, although of great concern to me, was usually done with bodies that were donated, by their families if not by the formerly living themselves. This would not be an ethical problem. But then looking into the course I was interested in, required for all nursing and medical students (not required for me) I was in horror to discover that the course required students to KILL a cat and then dissect it, it was obviously not a course for me.
In the various biological courses the dissection of living creatures was also required in the lab. The professor knew my stance was neither hypocritical nor was it some kind of trend, and she also took note that I was so deeply hurt by the fact she continued with the example, and felt uncomfortable looking at me, she made me leave the room as she could not look me in the eye the entire day. The professor of the course was a woman who actually decorated her office with images of frogs, and then for the course lab, proceeded to put a needle into the brain of that little golden/brown soft skinned creature…
Outside of the room, as the hour and a half went by, I got many students from the room, come out and say to me, (while me and another person who also “opted out” sat and did the anatomy work on the plastic frog model..) come to me, and actually hug me and say, “I think it was a useless waste of a living creature.. but I need the grade to be good..” and for me, it was a sacrifice of a nearly PERFECT grade point average… but this is the way it is.
People say in order to go to medical school, it is even worse than just one dissection.
Seeing Kate’s Mars placement in Aries within an orb of a Saturn conjunction suggests someone who is quite “hard”… I mean, this is what one has to be to be a doctor in the UK, and the US. This is also means she was in medical school about the time that I was studying and so I know that one really had to play by the rules. You don’t play by the rules, you don’t get into the courses because this is also how its played, even if you are in the school many of the professors have to approve of you being in the course.
In a prestigious art school (later on) a young film maker who was telling me about what his family had gone through, told me of his sister going to medical school. Their family had fallen upon tough times, and other members of the family treated them like pariahs, so in order to put herself through medical school, the sister took to prostitution, just because she was so determined to succeed, nothing was going to stand in her way, including any moral problems.
As I said, it takes a certain kind tough personality to do those things, Kate strikes me as something allot harder than she looks. Aries Diamond (Mars/Saturn) would be the focus.. even if she did not intend to do harm, and even if she has a soft side,(Pisces?)there is something competitive, pushy and prominent about her. I have not personally seen her cry, I suspect there would be someone who has, but this is why I feel suspicious of her, there are of course other reasons, but not crying feels like a heart that is different.
When I look at a chart, what I do focus upon what aspects direct my eye– I thought that it would be the Venus/Mercury in Aquarius, but that Aries Mars/Saturn just jumps out.
I personally know someone with Mars/Saturn conjunction, they live in prison now; it is however in their 12th house, and they didn’t always live there.. and I suppose addiction and deception helped place him in the situation.
Young people in the jail system used to say it was very difficult when they got out, they say the prison stays in your head, the sounds at night, the way it feels in there compared to being able to walk outside on your own. They would tell me it would get so much of an anxious feeling being free they would do things just to get back in jail, intentionally. And its probably the reason why repeat offenders are common- besides not offering any coping skills to the problems that brought them in to begin with.
Its ironic that many women who have left their children on their own, for a moment live in prisons now too, not meaning to have done any kind of harm to their own children, but because they needed to get out a bit and be “free”..
With the situation between Kate and Gary, these two have, or seem to have everything, including the freedom to go where they wish, and yet, were still not free enough, and still needed to “go out and be free” all the while fully knowing that Maddie and one of the twins had been crying the night before for their father.
And I’ve been accused of not having any empathy? I’m not a perfect parent, I’m made aware of that nearly every day, however, one thing my son and my husband and my mother in law know to be true is that I have never left my son alone in the dark to cry, not as an infant, and not as he is now. Its emotional abuse that is accepted as “normal”…and some “parenting experts” say, let them cry.. (but they also say, don’t leave them alone while you go out to dinner with your friends..)
Perhaps just one day for this couple to understand what the children felt emotionally abandoned, alone in the dark, not knowing what was going on, someone may need to spend a day in a jail just to see what it does to the emotional capacity of those who end up living there, even if only temporarily.

The possibility of lying in Kate’s chart is shown by Moon in Taurus opposite Neptune square Mercury in Aquarius – she is a very clever lady, whose mind lends well to abstract concepts and possibly idealism, and also has staying power – a tough cookie indeed (with Mars-Saturn in Aries).
Of course, anyone with any chart, could lie…
