In Part 2 we look at the synastry connections between Edward and Wallis. They have a great deal of double whammys. Where one planet makes an aspect to the other both ways. I used fairly tight orbs. These indicate shared karma to be worked on in this life time.
They had the classic Sun trine Moon, which is the traditional marriage aspect. Though it was her sun to his moon so she wore the trousers. And a very sparky double whammy sex in aspect Mars semi sextile/square Venus.
They have a good mix of karmic/ stable aspects, good communication and the spice of sexual aspects. But it’s not such an easy domestic relationship. Circumstances very obviously playing in their interaspects. They don’t have much in the way of Jupiter and Venus. And a lot of Chiron to deal with. Much healing of karmic wounds.
Wallis has a Yod of Mars (sex) sextiling Venus (love) to her Uranus up in the 9th. Which points to controversy with foreigners or or religious institutions, like marriage perhaps? Edwards Venus/Part of fortune conjunction sits bang on her reaction point. So he whipped this Yod into action with his love. Wallis’s powerful Uranus yod Apex sextiles (1 deg) Edward’s Black Moon Lilith (conjunct AC). I mentioned in part one it was hidden in the 12th like all his past mistresses had been. He could not fail to bring her out of the closet when her Moon, Mars AND Chiron were all squaring it by one degree.
The Composite Mid-point Chart
So lets look at the bigger picture with their composite chart of how their combined energies worked together. In the composite Uranus rules the chart with the AC in Aquarius. They certainly came across as an unconventional couple for the time. It forms a grand water trine with the North node and Jupiter.
Destiny, religion/law and rebellion. Then there is ANOTHER grand trine in water. This time Saturn, the Sun and Black moon Lilith. The Establishment, the Crown and A bewitching lady all within 30′ of each other. Saturn and sun is 7′! That is so symbolic of this romance.
Black Moon Lilith is in the first describing their image. The sun in the 5th. Love affairs. Asteroid Lilith (Feminist, independant woman) and Chiron (Wounds) in the taboo 8th house of sex and death. Their Marriage opened doors of destiny. Vertex in the 7th. Part of fortune conjunct DC. This made their souls happy and fortunate in partnership. The composite north node in Pisces can mean a sacrifice. It was a very Neptunian romance. It entranced the nation even if they hated Wallis.
WALLIS
Her Black Moon Lilith on the Mars. Their sex brought out her magic.
Her Venus on the IC. Her love stirred up by their past connections.
Her Neptune on the Mercury. (01′)!! Her dreams effect their mode of thinking
Her Part Of Fortune on the the Saturn. Her souls happiness depends on their shared Karma.
EDWARD
His Mars opposes the Saturn. His Sexuality and masculinity opposed their responsibilities and authority. This makes Grand water trine described above into a kite. He HAD to abdicate, because it was his sexual attraction to Wallis that would make that Kite fly.
His Sun conjunct the Sun. He identified strongly with the relationship.
His Chiron opposed the North Node. His childhood wounds had be resolved to pursue their shared life path. Again this turns the other grand trine into another Kite. His childhood wounds made this relationship happen. Rebelling against his family for past hurts. Standing his ground and not being a victim.
Composite To Natal Connections
The Composite is profoundly linked to their individual charts with very tight aspects. And shows how Edward had to make the most compromises and adjustments in his life to make it work. For Wallis she would feel it strongly as a magical Soul mate connection. Wild horses would not have dragged her away from this one even tho the stakes were so high. She must’ve had a strong internal force telling her this was destined which would’ve impacted on Edward.
The establishment were forever playing down this was a great love and painted Wallis to be a gold digger and Edward to be a weak man dominated by her. Edwards Nazi connections (which I have not researched), seem to me another attempt to “debunk” him. But from what I can see so far. This indeed was a strong love connection, too many intricate karmic links and amazing close orbs in synastry for it not to be.
