The 2012 Astrology Forecast is very interesting because this year has been much anticipated due to Mayan and other predictions. There are actually a great deal of extremely significant astrological aspects and eclipses to back up all the excitement. Uranus square Pluto is a very big deal, responsible for the growing financial turmoil and revolutions. There is a rare Transit of Venus, a total solar eclipse in the Pleiades Star Cluster of Taurus, and finally a Jupiter Yod in the Bulls Eye of Taurus.
2012 Astrology Predictions
Jupiter trine Pluto on March 13 2012 is the third and final in the series of the trines. The previous two were in July and October 2012. At it best, Jupiter trine Pluto is large scale positive transformation of belief systems, religion and financial systems. But it can also be greed and immorality. During the trines of 2011, the stock markets were temporarily propped up by money being taken away from public spending and from taxpayers to feed the banks. Jupiter trine Pluto is big growth, but the philosophical probing of this trine has us wondering if the economic growth that is required for capitalism to work is really sustainable. Back to religion, Jupiter makes a rare conjunction with Black Moon Lilith in 2012. We started the year with this and we get it again between March 11th-20th and December 11th-12th. This coincides nicely with the Jupiter trine Pluto and could signal some sort of religious revolution brought about by women. Lilith is the priestess. See Marina’s post on Lilith conjunct Jupiter.
The May 20 2012 solar eclipse is at 0 degrees Gemini on the fixed star Alcyone in the Pleiades of Taurus the Bull. The Pleiades are mentioned in the Cherokee Rattlesnake Prophecy, with the Pleiades being at the tip of the Rattlesnake constellation. “In the year 2004 and 2012 an alignment will take place both on the Cherokee Calendar and in the heavens of the Rattlesnake Constellation both. It is the time of the doublehead serpent stick. It is the time of the Red of Orion and Jupiter against White Blue of Pleiades and Venus.”
June 4 2012 there is a lunar eclipse at 14 degrees Sagittarius. On June 6 2012 there is a rare transit of Venus at 15 degrees Gemini, where this planet will be seen as a black dot passing over the face of the Sun. The May 20 solar eclipse plus Jupiter are in the Pleiades. Sun, Mercury and Venus are in Orion. Interestingly, at that May 20 solar eclipse, Mars is on the fixed star of prophesy, Zosma, which in ancient Sumeria represented the god Kua, The Oracle.
June 24 is the first of two Uranus square Pluto aspects in 2012, and the first of seven over the next few years. This is the biggest longer term astrological influence this year, and in fact the most significant influence since the 1960′s. The last time Uranus was square Pluto was during the Great Depression of the 1930′s. The writing is already on the wall as far as another economic depression goes. The radical transformations suggested by Uranus square Pluto are starting to be seen in the global economy, but tinkering at the edges will not avert major upheavals.
Another manifestation of this aspect could be a sexual revolution, what was begun in the 1960′s with the conjunction goes to the next level with this waxing square. I believe the waxing square has more power to create lasting change. We can really see that the 1960s conjunction really did herald huge changes in consciousness, with the civil rights movement and the big changes in the lives of women. For the first time we truly gained financial independence from men and we were given biological freedom with the advent of birth control.
The next exact hit of Uranus square Pluto is on September 19 2012. As well as extreme changes in the economy, Uranus square Pluto also brings intense revolutions, the rebellion against dictatorship which already started in 2011. The combination of high unemployment and poverty from economic collapses, and the strong urge for drastic change means that the Arab Spring is likely to spread to other parts of the world. We have seen dictators fall in 2011, but the vacuum created also brings the chance of even more extreme or religious regimes taking control amid the chaos. Remember the last series of squares was in the early 1930′s. Adolf Hitler cemented his power at the climax of Uranus square Pluto.
There is a total solar eclipse on November 13 2012 at 21 degrees Scorpio on the fixed star Unukalhai, the Heart of the Serpent, it has an association with poison, both physical and spiritual. The South Node of the Moon at this eclipse is on the notorious fixed star Algol, the Head of Medusa.
The final eclipse for 2012 is a lunar eclipse on November 28 at 6 degrees Gemini on the fixed star Prima Hyadum in the Hyades of Taurus the Bull. The Hyades have a fierce reputation, and in the first century AD, Manilius wrote that these star make people “yearn for crowds and mobs and civil disorders. Sedition and uproar delight them“.
December 2012 Astrology Forecast
This brings us to December 2012, which is the big climax according the Mayan Calendar. At Darkstar Astrology we are open minded to all possibilities, but it is very important to us that there be sound astrology behind any hype. In this case we believe that there is something very special about 2012 astrology. Uranus square Pluto is a major deal, no one can question the effects we have already seen on the global economic situation and on revolutionary movements. The Cherokee Prophecy very accurately predicted the transit of Venus and activation of certain stars.
On December 21/22 2012, the planet Jupiter makes a very special aspect pattern to Saturn and Pluto. This pattern is called a Yod, meaning “Finger of God“. This is a fated or karmic astrological pattern, and this one is very rare but we did have a similar one back in 1989. That ones came around the time of some extremely significant events, including the Tienanmen square massacre, the death of Ayatollah Khomeini, and the start of the breakup of the communist USSR, with Solidarity Movement victory in Poland.
The December 21 2012 Jupiter Yod should also bring some significant events, especially as it falls on on the the four Royal Stars, Aldebaran, the Eye of the Bull. This is fitting given the strong focus on constellation Taurus in 2012. The Royal Stars also represent the Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse and the Four Archangels, with Aldebaran representing the Archangel Michael. Stars were Angels to our ancestors, messengers of the Gods. We shall have to wait and see what Michael has to tell us. In the tarot card the Judgement shown above, we can see an angel blowing a trumpet and the dead rising out of their coffins. This could be that mass awakening that new age commentators refer to. I think the card is about personal resurrection, being able to rise above the hardships of life.
Events in China should have critical implications globally. The Chinese horoscope has her Sun being squared by transiting Pluto all 2012, a severe test on the leadership. Economic slowdown and internet led rebellions will be difficult to contain given that Uranus is square Pluto.
The people who will do well out of 2012 will be those willing to let go of unnecessary material possessions, jobs that are just about amassing wealth, and toxic lifestyles or relationships. Despite the challenges facing us as suggested by the aspects and eclipses, 2012 should be a year for great opportunities to those who are able to adapt to changing conditions. We also feel that conserving resources and leaving a smaller footprint on the earth would be wise and also liberating.

Glad it wasn’t just me that noticed that Yod in Dec! I noticed that from the 22nd of Dec to the 27th Dec it becomes a focused Yod involving Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter and Venus.
In for interesting times indeed I think, hopefully changes for the good, less greed, more compassion for our fellow humans etc.
Notice the red cardinal cross on the flag and the fiery hair and wings of Michael. The Cardinal cross has an interesting history, starting with the Crusades and ending up as the cross of St George, emblem of England.
A repeat of some aspect of 2004 could be scary, December 26th 2004 was the super catastrophic 9.3 mag quake and tsunami at Sumatra that left 230,000 people dead. During that summer of 04 the statue of Shiva in Katmandu was weeping like he does before some great disasters .
Venus combust, making a superior conjunction of the Sun in June crossing the disk of the Sun is not good and may cause health problems and end of some relationships , whether marriage , friendship,siblings , business etc.
Mercury retrograde on USA election day in November could be interesting. Didn’t that happen in the Bush Gore election and it took weeks to resolve ,some judge on the Supreme Court gave it to Bush.
2012 is an election year so if the democrats in the USA want to stay in power they need to release some money and create some jobs I would think.
I would not depend on any Obama questionable charts to see where he is headed in 2012 but the 2 inauguration charts of Obama may give some clues. Obama took the oath twice, there was a word glytch in the first oath. It would be sad but he’ll probably be reelected by hook or by crook. Poor America is cursed.

WHat was s interesting about the 2004 Tsunami was the fact a Super Galactic wave – a pulse if you like, shot form the galactic centre just 44 hrs before it struck. This was unofficially picked up by LIGO and TAMA telescopes in the US and Japan. It was no accident the earthquake arrived when it did. The rate of travel was exactly consistent with the timing of the earthquake. The Physicist Paul LA Violette has done extensive work on SGWs – google him or see you tube.
I’d suggest that Uranus is not just revolution. It is actually about shocks and in the wider sense innovation via electricity. Electricity is ruled by Uranus. The energies at the centre of the galaxy are in essence electric and in turn electromagnetic. I see Uranus and PLuto combined as transformation via electricity or as Alice Bailey referred to it Cosmic Fire. Or even cosmic kundalini.
I think a lot of people are going to have kundalini experiences as is the earth in general. The universal force causes much change at the very least. Don’t expect it all to be sweetness and light. Kali is a motherfucker of a goddess! Quetzlcoatl was a fiery monster too!
Going back to the 60s, the sexual revolution was part of an increase in the electric environment. Or environ of kundalini. Music entered another phase via electricity. The effect of electricity on our bodies has been greatly increased. As DK/Alice Bailey put it 70 years ago, there would be an increase in the daily use of electricity as a preparation for things to come.
I don’t think much of what people are revolting against is really politcal. Its just an overload and its going to get worse until we learn the way to channel the energy.
There is a brilliant seminar coming up in a week in Las Vegas (no, I won’t be there!) about the effects of the Electric Universe on the Human Body. This is very timely.
Previously, Uranus and PLuto in were Virgo but with Uranus in Aries and PLuto in Capricorn Ithink the effects are going to be very different.
I’ll be watching the galactic centre – look out for increases in briliance in bodies at the centre. And check out the Hopi Prophecy! it talks of the Time of Untime and a thrid shaking of the world… not a good thing to see.

What does chaos ask of us? Ultimately to examine our relationship to death. We cannot ignore death when Pluto looms so large in the picture. Its worth remembering of course that the human soul was clothed in flesh to come here, so only the body dies!

The eclipse on 0 degrees of Gemini ight be connected to The Gate of Man, where the Egyptians believed the soul incarnated into flesh after having descended from Heaven passing through the Gate of Man. Having lived another life on Earth the soul eventually left the body after death and returned to Heaven again this time passing through the Gate of God. The Gate of Man corresponds with the crossing of the Milky Way and ecliptic at 5° Gemini (sidereal zodiac) while the Gate of God corresponds with the crossing of the Milky Way and ecliptic in 5° Sagittarius.

Interesting. The point of the Jupiter Yod in December forms a Grand Air Trine with my Jupiter in Aquarius and Pluto(conjunct my Ascendant) in Libra and the release point of the Yod is centered on my Neptune in Sagittarius, thus forming a Kite Formation layered on top of the transiting Yod.
The Jupiter point of the Yod will be in my Gemini 9th house while the release point of the Yod will be in my Sagittarian 3rd House.
vista is supposed to play a role here, passing over the sun, I’m not sure what, everything is tied to finincial systems, home to organized crime able to hold us hostage for bail outs. What is all this Rattlesnake prophecy, really? There doesn’t seem to be any there there. Am I missing something or is it simply a prediction of astronomical events? Is there a version of the prophecy that says what happens down here at that time? Always read about it here, and I find myself very confused as to the significance.

hi JT the pattern on crotalus rattlesnake, mayan abacus, sacred, used in long count to establish when the GC, galatic center, conq. pluto. at this point the kupier, (astroid) belt is in alignment w/ our solar system. the myans used polished obsidian to magnify venus in triangulation….anyway we all know the CG/conq/pluto already happened late july- mid oct. 2007….so they were off a few. the world hasen’t ended an astroid from the kupier belt didn’t smash earth,…threat over.

listening late night to a lecture about the maji, and 17, april, 6 BC as birth of christ… found this link… it was a moon/sun/jupiter/conq, the early depections of jesus as a red head,, the earth is 17 libra, remember reading this as a mayter deg. He never seemed a libra sun, to me. He visited me in a dream to say he never meant to cause such suffering, showed me the holes burnt through his palms, so I knew it was him although everything else was dark, in a cave.

lucy interesting. I too dreamt recently of cave, fear of changing conditions and being shown the light on the horizon by mysterious man. It lead me to Plato on Wikipedia, caves and the divided line theory of upper and lower worlds. Lower mirrors, reflections and shadows permanency change, and upper math, ideas as steps to good or god. Bit by bit by bit we are lead along.

I have been studying Astrology for less than a year and enjoy what you and your husband post and read you regularly and am learning from you two. You two are very understandable in your writings, and reasonable in your predictions. Obviously quiet knowledgeable as well because when you say something is going to happen, I feel it when it happens.
I am a 22degree Leo with Sun conjunct Uranus. Moon and Mars occult Aldebaran as well. I did my SR for 2012 @astro the way you said and I have Saturn/ Mars occult Spika, in less than 4 degrees of the AC. Mercury and Moon are on either side of the MC within 2 degrees. There is a T square as well. Something is going to happen in my life when that WS Yod strikes my natal Moon and Mars.
Perhaps you would like something quiet unordinary for your files concerning Yods or SRs. I will be glad to tell you what happens if you like.
