The 2012 Astrology Forecast is very interesting because this year has been much anticipated due to Mayan and other predictions. There are actually a great deal of extremely significant astrological aspects and eclipses to back up all the excitement. Uranus square Pluto is a very big deal, responsible for the growing financial turmoil and revolutions. There is a rare Transit of Venus, a total solar eclipse in the Pleiades Star Cluster of Taurus, and finally a Jupiter Yod in the Bulls Eye of Taurus.
2012 Astrology Predictions
Jupiter trine Pluto on March 13 2012 is the third and final in the series of the trines. The previous two were in July and October 2012. At it best, Jupiter trine Pluto is large scale positive transformation of belief systems, religion and financial systems. But it can also be greed and immorality. During the trines of 2011, the stock markets were temporarily propped up by money being taken away from public spending and from taxpayers to feed the banks. Jupiter trine Pluto is big growth, but the philosophical probing of this trine has us wondering if the economic growth that is required for capitalism to work is really sustainable. Back to religion, Jupiter makes a rare conjunction with Black Moon Lilith in 2012. We started the year with this and we get it again between March 11th-20th and December 11th-12th. The May 20 2012 solar eclipse is at 0 degrees Gemini on the fixed star Alcyone in the Pleiades of Taurus the Bull. The Pleiades are mentioned in the Cherokee Rattlesnake Prophecy, with the Pleiades being at the tip of the Rattlesnake constellation. “In the year 2004 and 2012 an alignment will take place both on the Cherokee Calendar and in the heavens of the Rattlesnake Constellation both. It is the time of the doublehead serpent stick. It is the time of the Red of Orion and Jupiter against White Blue of Pleiades and Venus.”
June 4 2012 there is a lunar eclipse at 14 degrees Sagittarius. On June 6 2012 there is a rare transit of Venus at 15 degrees Gemini, where this planet will be seen as a black dot passing over the face of the Sun. The May 20 solar eclipse plus Jupiter are in the Pleiades. Sun, Mercury and Venus are in Orion. Interestingly, at that May 20 solar eclipse, Mars is on the fixed star of prophesy, Zosma, which in ancient Sumeria represented the god Kua, The Oracle.
June 24 is the first of two Uranus square Pluto aspects in 2012, and the first of seven over the next few years. This is the biggest longer term astrological influence this year, and in fact the most significant influence since the 1960′s. The last time Uranus was square Pluto was during the Great Depression of the 1930′s. The writing is already on the wall as far as another economic depression goes. The radical transformations suggested by Uranus square Pluto are starting to be seen in the global economy, but tinkering at the edges will not avert major upheavals.
Another manifestation of this aspect could be a sexual revolution, what was begun in the 1960′s with the conjunction goes to the next level with this waxing square. I believe the waxing square has more power to create lasting change. We can really see that the 1960s conjunction really did herald huge changes in consciousness, with the civil rights movement and the big changes in the lives of women. For the first time we truly gained financial independence from men and we were given biological freedom with the advent of birth control.
The next exact hit of Uranus square Pluto is on September 19 2012. As well as extreme changes in the economy, Uranus square Pluto also brings intense revolutions, the rebellion against dictatorship which already started in 2011. The combination of high unemployment and poverty from economic collapses, and the strong urge for drastic change means that the Arab Spring is likely to spread to other parts of the world. We have seen dictators fall in 2011, but the vacuum created also brings the chance of even more extreme or religious regimes taking control amid the chaos. Remember the last series of squares was in the early 1930′s. Adolf Hitler cemented his power at the climax of Uranus square Pluto.
There is a total solar eclipse on November 13 2012 at 21 degrees Scorpio on the fixed star Unukalhai, the Heart of the Serpent, it has an association with poison, both physical and spiritual. The South Node of the Moon at this eclipse is on the notorious fixed star Algol, the Head of Medusa.
The final eclipse for 2012 is a lunar eclipse on November 28 at 6 degrees Gemini on the fixed star Prima Hyadum in the Hyades of Taurus the Bull. The Hyades have a fierce reputation, and in the first century AD, Manilius wrote that these star make people “yearn for crowds and mobs and civil disorders. Sedition and uproar delight them“.
December 2012 Astrology Forecast
This brings us to December 2012, which is the big climax according the Mayan Calendar. At Darkstar Astrology we are open minded to all possibilities, but it is very important to us that there be sound astrology behind any hype. In this case we believe that there is something very special about 2012 astrology. Uranus square Pluto is a major deal, no one can question the effects we have already seen on the global economic situation and on revolutionary movements. The Cherokee Prophecy very accurately predicted the transit of Venus and activation of certain stars.
On December 21/22 2012, the planet Jupiter makes a very special aspect pattern to Saturn and Pluto. This pattern is called a Yod, meaning “Finger of God“. This is a fated or karmic astrological pattern, and this one is very rare but we did have a similar one back in 1989. That ones came around the time of some extremely significant events, including the Tienanmen square massacre, the death of Ayatollah Khomeini, and the start of the breakup of the communist USSR, with Solidarity Movement victory in Poland.
The December 2012 Jupiter Yod should also bring some significant events, especially as it falls on on the the four Royal Stars, Aldebaran, the Eye of the Bull. This is fitting given the strong focus on constellation Taurus in 2012. The Royal Stars also represent the Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse and the Four Archangels, with Aldebaran representing the Archangel Michael. Stars were Angels to our ancestors, messengers of the Gods. We shall have to wait and see what Michael has to tell us. In the tarot card the Judgement shown above, we can see an angel blowing a trumpet and the dead rising out of their coffins. This could be that mass awakening that new age commentators refer to. I think the card is about personal resurrection, being able to rise above the hardships of life.
Events in China should have critical implications globally. The Chinese horoscope has her Sun being squared by transiting Pluto all 2012, a severe test on the leadership. Economic slowdown and internet led rebellions will be difficult to contain given that Uranus is square Pluto.
The people who will do well out of 2012 will be those willing to let go of unnecessary material possessions, jobs that are just about amassing wealth, and toxic lifestyles or relationships. Despite the challenges facing us as suggested by the aspects and eclipses, 2012 should be a year for great opportunities to those who are able to adapt to changing conditions. We also feel that conserving resources and leaving a smaller footprint on the earth would be wise and also liberating.

listening late night to a lecture about the maji, and 17, april, 6 BC as birth of christ… found this link… it was a moon/sun/jupiter/conq, the early depections of jesus as a red head,, the earth is 17 libra, remember reading this as a mayter deg. He never seemed a libra sun, to me. He visited me in a dream to say he never meant to cause such suffering, showed me the holes burnt through his palms, so I knew it was him although everything else was dark, in a cave.
